How does one go about setting up a blog? I decided I wanted to start blogging about two hours ago, and after maybe 20 minutes of half-ass research, I was able to get a domain name. Next I started setting things up, which is proving much more difficult than I had thought. I’ve taken quite a few computer classes. However those were back in the 6th grade. A lot has changed since I was in the 6th grade. So here I am, stumbling though this website design stuff. It looks like it should be simple. Maybe it is and I’m just missing something. Nevertheless, I’m going to dive right in having done no research just like I always do. Maybe I’ll figure things out, maybe I won’t and I’ll abandon this and have wasted the $27 that it cost me. Nobody knows.

I will however, use this first post to tell anyone who may happen to stubble and actually navigate this website that I’m struggling to put together, what I would like it to be. I’m a 24 year old girl from New Jersey. I have a passion and deep appreciation for plants and am in school studying horticulture. I would love to share what I learn in school, at my nursery job, and just in my own garden. I also want to be able to share things like recipes, craft ideas, and meaningless stories about my life. Maybe even some that do have meaning. Will I stick to these ideas I’ve laid out before you? Well, like I said before, nobody knows. I will however, do my best to stick to this and try to make improvements everyday until I’m satisfied.
